Check this out!! The Farmington Historical Society published a great article about Wilford Woodruff, the Temple and the historical connection between Mormons and the Town of Farmington.
A great big thank you to FHS! And to the article's author, Earle Stone!

Frosty views from the Northwest side!
Here's what has been going on at the Temple site this week: Workers have begun painting interior walls. There are light fixtures being installed and marble flooring laid. Millworkers have been hard at work on the ceiling of the Celestial Room (which is located on the western end of the Temple), installing decorative components. Sure to be magnificent!

The latest aerials!
Check out these latest aerial photos of our Temple. They were taken just this last week. I wish President Everette had an x-ray vision lens that could show us all the wonderful work going on inside while the snow and cold is slowing the work on the exterior.

The warmer weather (thank you, March!) has kickstarted work on the Temple's exterior. Here's a shot of the crew installing steel reinforcement along the upper exterior walls. This steel will secure the stone for the Temple's future parapet.

February 16, 2015: It's cold outside!
A cold, sunny day, side view! Sheet rock is going up at a steady pace inside the Temple. Stone work on the exterior will restart as soon as the weather warms....praying (along with the rest of New England) that happens soon!
